Gratitude is a hot topic, especially here at Goodbloom. But actually practicing it is totally different than having the intention to do so. Here are some ways we aim to practice gratitude in our own lives, and would recommend you to try them out as well!
Try these gratitude practices…
- Be nice to your enemies
- Be thankful for the little things
- See the lesson in your missteps
- Embrace difficult times and use them as opportunities for growth
- Post reminders around your home and/or work space
- Thank the people who serve in your community
- Be mindful daily
- Focus on the current day
- Try not to complain for 1 full day
- Tell your friends how thankful you are for them
- Do an act of kindness daily
- Keep a gratitude journal
- Count your blessings versus burdens
- Write a letter to a loved one expressing your love
- Make everyday beautiful
- Give others around you a compliment
- Celebrate all the little and big moments in your life
